We like to think of the wild as somewhere out there.
Deep in the woods. Beyond the fence. Somewhere away from our everyday lives.
But maybe it’s closer than we think.
The domestic world and the wild one aren’t always as separate as we imagine.
The cat is familiar. A companion who lives beside us, sleeps in our homes, and becomes part of our families.
And then there’s the mushroom—a little piece of the forest finding its way into that familiar world.
Mycelium is about the places where those two worlds meet.
Because maybe we never really left the wild behind.
Maybe it has been growing alongside us all along.
